Our Programs

The study of the Martial Arts is one of the few activities that bring together the energy of both the mind and the body. Our mission at the United States Karate Academy is to bring that energy together. Our professionally trained and highly qualified staff members provide the ultimate Martial Arts learning experience to our students. Practice of the Martial Arts at one of the United States Karate Academy locations will enable an individual to focus and concentrate on achieving worthwhile goals and greatly enhance their ability to meet life's challenges with total confidence and perseverance. Our schools offer a variety of Martial Arts programs for all ages.

Our Knee-High Samurai program for children ages 4-8, uses confidence-building exercises to help develop hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Through our philosophy of positive reinforcement, and the interaction with Instructors and other children, your child will develop the security and confidence to accept separation from you, be more focused and attentive, and ready for the upcoming road ahead in school. .

Our Junior Program for ages 9-12 is focused on the physical, emotional and mental well-being, as well as education of our children. Our national recognized children's program uses interesting and enjoyable methods to keep the student's attention and teach our young students skills that they can use for life. We promote non-violent resolutions to conflict. More than any other sport, Karate gives our children the chance to explore their innate powers. Marvel as they increase in strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, and harmony. This is only the start. Physical skills act as a foundation for something much more important: the development of value skills, both mental and emotional. .

Our Adult Program is designed to bring out the very best in you. No matter what your age, you can benefit from our programs to fit any physical conditions or concerns you may have. Our program is a total fitness package combining strength, endurance, flexibility, balance and improved judgment skills that have benefited our thousands of adult students in all walks of life.

Our Kickboxing Program is not one of those aerobic type classes. Fight the Fat with our Kickboxing classes. These classes are way better than a boot camp, the gym, those expensive personal trainers or any kickboxing class anywhere! No Cry Babies in this Kickboxing Class.

Our Black Belt Program is for those students that have set Black Belt as their goal. The Black Belt Program is for students of all ages. The majority of our students have set Black Belt as their goal. We have found that students that have set clear, written goals have a greater chance of accomplishing their goals, regardless if it is in Karate, school, work or home. Internationally recognized instructor Miguel Serrano is a 6th degree Black Belt. He holds the title of Renshi in Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate-Do and is also a 5th Degree Black Belt in Kobudo, the ancient art of weaponry. He is there to guide you through your progress from the beginning to black belt and beyond.
